First, I have to say that I really hope that they wanted you to get some professional assistance during that time. If all they did was punish you, I would be very upset. The school board needs a talking to.
If you are having a hard time with your emotions, you need to talk to someone and get some help. If your parents won't listen and your counselor won't listen, look up your local Teen Suicide Hotline and talk to them. They may be able to help you get others to listen. Don't give up. Your mental health is important. Best to you .

instead of suspending you they should have found you help....now i don't know your age but you have to understand at some ages there are hormones to blame for being emotional its normal, not fun but normal. if you are having feelings that you can't stand it anymore and want to die then you need to seek out someone to talk to and get help from....are there any adults you like and can trust....a school counselor, parent, doctor, aunt/uncle etc. then do it, we all as teenagers had the same desperate feelings you are having and sometimes they seem to just eat us alive. some people can recognize them for what they are and handle them some can't , its not bad if you can't heck we all need help at some point in our lives....go talk to someone, seek help so you can feel better....don't give up...you're worth it.

You got suspended for saying you were going to commit suicide? That's just wrong! They should have counselors talk to you about it to make sure that you were OK, instead of punishing you for reaching out.
If you have a favorite teacher, talk to her about it. The school should have resources to help you with your emotions.

call a church and see if there is someone there you can speak with--there usually is... and there may be a church group for kids your age that you can get involved with and keep you busy in a way that will keep you outta trouble, off the streets, give you some direction, and get your mind off things that will generally work themselves out (and prayer will help them to work out for the best)
...suicide is not the answer....dont do that to the people who love you

The worst thing you can do is>>> not to talk about it, because you'll be buried alive! Get it out before it drags you down so far that you actually commit it & you're put 6 feet under. What we really want is peace & happiness. You're going to have to go after it if you get it... & you may have to do things you don't want to, in order to reach the goal. It's better to scream about it (to get the message across to them) & get it out rather than to go thru life suicidally depressed...been there, done that. Please get help because it's not something that you need to go thru all by yourself. You didn't get there all by yourself... others helped bury you alive, so they need to realize what they've done... it's partly their responsibility to help you get out from under the dung-heap.

Emotions can be managed but when you are young they seem really big. You need to find someone who can help you find your way, someone not in your family and who has experience with these things.....school guidance office, someone at your church, etc.

Breathe and take yoga. You can have your emotions but you need to learn how to handle them better. Start taking yoga classes now.

Try the suicide hot-line, while you may not be suicidal now, you can use to talk to someone with experience with depression.

I write about my feelings, b/c I bottle them up and that always helps, or I go for walks.

You need to talk to a therapist, if you cannot talk to your parents.
What's wrong with talking to your parents?
It's important for you to talk to someone who you trust about how you feel.
