The Bronx and Brooklyn are different boroughs (or areas) within New York. There are five boroughs in total which are, Manhattan,
Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.

Maybe, but not the entire borough. The same way the entire borough of Brooklyn and Queens aren't gentrified. Probably just the South Bronx because it has all the subway lines to Manhattan. I hope this information was very helpful.

Two different boroughs of New York. Bronx is actually on the mainland of the United States, north of the East River and east of the Hudson. Brooklyn is actually the very western tip of Long Island, south of the East River.

no. diff boroughs of NYC. There's Staten Island, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Long Island is not part of NYC, but friends who are from there claim it anyway. I can careless because I'm not even from the state.
