There are over 300 Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah in the Old Testament. Many of these prophecies could not possibly be arranged by human hands. Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53 graphically predict the death of Christ by crucifixion, hundrends of years before crucifixion was used by the Romans. What about the place of His birth or the circumstances surrounding the trial before His death

Let me rephrase the question... If you believe that man wrote the bible, then how could prophecies come true so precisly?

The writers were inspired by God.

Example:

A secretary writing a letter for the boss. The boss told the Secretary what to write, but the secretary did the actual writing of his words or ideas. The letter is signed by the boss. Therefore since the letter is the boss's idea it is considered a letter from the boss, not the secretary.

The writers of the prophecies are the secretaries and God is the boss.

Hope that helps

This is where it separates the men from the boys. There is truism in "little knowledge can be dangerous..."

While there are in fact CERTAIN errors of commission and errors of omission found in the Bible today --based on new findings and some light shedding on the lies and falsehoods perpetrated by organized religion over the generations-- people TEND to put their focus and emphasis on GENERALIZING their belief systems based on those certain, few errors rather the entirety of the Message itself.

Instead of admitting to the facts that, YES, there were indeed prophecies made centuries BEFORE THEY DID OCCUR and that such prophecies were done by UNRELATED people who, for the most part of Old Testament era, didn't know each other from Adam... they would much rather stick to that SMALL PERCENTAGE of errors and say that the ENTIRE BIBLE IS FALSE!

I'll bet a whole year's wages that these are the same people who BET IT ALL against the house in Las Vegas and they still end up losing their shirt and bus ride home. Oh well...

And of course, the same rule applies to CERTAIN OTHER people who pledge their whole lives claiming that the Bible is indeed 100% accurate!! Wow...

People will never learn from their own pride and ignorance, lemme tellya.

Peace be with you!

I do not believe the writers from see you later in the past. I experiment what they are saying with anything is to be had to verify their reports. The bible itself says to experiment everyting. The indisputable fact that they died for what they believed to be real is a minimum of a testomony to their sincerity. I have much less believe for the guys who say that the guys who wrote the bible had been faking it. Where is the evidence for his or her theories? They can not think this given that they can not uncover slightly of proof right here or they can not take delivery of that as proof given that it's within the bible. People are encouraged to disbelieve the bible. These persons don't aid their claims with any legitimate proof. They don't look to be honest. If the data are so transparent to persons that the bible is false why are there such a lot of fair Christians nonetheless right here. If it's feasible for one organization of persons to undergo a mass myth then why don't you experiment whether or not disbelievers would undergo from a mass myth. So at the foundation of sincerity I have extra religion in the truth that the guys who wrote the bible weren't faking it. I am certain given that I have no longer located ample proof to doubt it. I am no longer pronouncing there isn't proof for doubt however that I have no longer obvious it and persons right here have no longer produced any for me to look.

In the book of 2 Timothy 3:16 it says: All Scripture is inspired of God ......

In the book of 2 Peter 2: 20, 21 says: For you know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21. For prophecy was at no time brought by man's will but men spoke form God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

The editing and rewriting happened LONG after the fact. Several hundred years to take out the stuff that didn't fit.

Jesus never did re-take Israel from foreign rule... and that was one of the MOST prophesied duties of the Messiah. That is also why the Jews never accepted him. He was supposed to give Israel their freedom. Israel remained under foreign rule until the United Nations turned it over to them in the 1940's.

Christians decided the main duty of the Messiah was to bring salvation to the world, however the Messianic prophesies for-told a great leader who would lead Israel to victory over their adversaries.

Is the United Nations the Messiah?

1 Timothy 3:16. It is inspired of God. It's like a secretary and a boss. The boss has his secretary write down his thoughts but nonetheless they are her boss's thoughts. Similarly, man wrote the Bible but they were all God's thoughts. Cool isn't it?

What do you mean by "IF" man wrote the bible? Who exactly did write it? Moses? Impossible! Look how long it took Moses to chisel out the "commandments" while he was hiking on Mt. Sinai. In my singular opinion (yes, opinion, I'll admit it)... "There is no Heaven where the righteous dwell, nor Hell where sinners roast; Here and now is my day of salvation. I am my own redeemer!"

You need to read up on the many other "crucified saviors" in other belief systems. The bible is just a piece of plagirized myths.
