Tell me did it work ? Did it suck? Has it been a waste of time?

I met some major bozos online, but I also met the man of my dreams, my boyfriend, on myspace of all places! I had been dating around and hadn't met anyone I really felt a connection with. One day on myspace, I was browsing profiles in a group for my favorite TV show. I stumbled upon my now-boyfriend's profile and I'm not sure what prompted me to look in the first place (he had and still has his dog as his profile pic) but when I saw that he claimed to be as much an expert as me on the show, I had to talk to him. I didn't even think anything would come of it...I thought I'd just found another friend. But the next thing I knew, we were corresponding every day through email and we had SO much more in common than that show we love. Eventually, I felt comfortable giving him my number, and as he'd promised, he called. And we talked for hours. And hours. Each day, until he finally convinced me to meet him in person. I agreed and I'm glad I did because a year and a half later, I couldn't possibly be happier or more in love. It was like we were made for one another. We love telling people how we met...everyone thinks it's so cute and I love watching the look on his face when he talks about it because I can see it in his eyes that he's absolutely positively in love with me. Online dating is more proof that you never know until you give it a try. It worked for me!

Was a HUGE waste of time...you never know what you are getting in to...love will find you when its time..if you are going to use online dating make sure that before you meet anyone that you have some kind of relationship with the person...you could be hooking up with a stalker...

At times it sucked and I got hurt, but then I met the man that I will marry. You just have to stick it out and make sure that you invest a lot of time and energy into getting to know the person you are talking to.

Great experience!! We met online(in chat room) about 6 and a half years ago.He lived in Ohio and I lived in South Carolina. Last April we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. While it's not for everyone..it worked out perfect for us.

I have heard that you meet weirdos and jerks online but you can meet them anywhere too. It's just how you handle yourself.

I did it once and the guy turned into a total psycho, talk about "fatal attraction" but for every bad story you hear out there your gonna hear a good one so remember the choice is always yours to make. I hope all goes well for you :-)

Well, I had one once. She lived about 573 miles away from me.
It sucked. We always wanted to be near each other and we couldn't. And it ended horribly. Don't do it unless they live near you and you can actually be able to see them and date in person.
