I have been eating healthier and exercising more and drinking alot of water and juices. But I'm not budging on the scales. I have been doing nutritional research alot and they say that if you eat 5 to 6 small meals a day that your body will have more energy and not store fat. So in tern will that start to burn the fat that you already have stored? It would make sense. Like how your body will retain water especially when it is not getting it everyday and enough of it,and stores it because your bosy goes into survival mode. So won't that be the same truth to eating? Because we all know that if we dont eat enough we will not lose the weight, which I have discovered myself. So if your body is storing fat is is in survival mode, or we eat too large of a meal and your body doesnt need it all so it stores it as fat in the body for later. So anyway, back to my question, if you start to eat more smaller meals a day will your body burn off the stored fat? Not be in survival mode anymore?

This is true but I dont know about the 5-6 times a day. What I was told was that you eat breakfast and then eat every three hours. It doesnt have to be much. Just enough to keep you going. I have a co-worker that has been doing this for about 2.5 months and has dropped a boat load of weight. Make sure not to eat after 5 or 6.

It is absolutely true. Your body is set up for famine if you starve so the more TIMES you eat, the less your body will store as fat. This doesn't mean eat McD's 8 times a day. Eat 5 to 6 small portioned meals throughout the day, you will be set!

Yes. Its because at any one point, your body has less food to work with at any one point, so it speeds up your matabolism. But a late meal is not good, try to eat 3 hours before sleep.
Also, it shuld help, but remember, eat healthy and exercise. The exercise is the most important part, run jog bike whatever...Oh and you will only lose if your total intake stays constant (5-6 SMALL meals). Also eat healthy snacks, apples, etc.
Now get off your computer and start running....

If you eat several small meals a day as opposed to a couple of big meals, yes, you will increase your metabolism for the exact reasons you mentioned. If you include exercise to the routine, youll burn that much more fat.

It works for some people. The reason is that, eating many times helps your metabolism work faster, that means at any given moment you are burning more calories, even if you are not doing exercise. But they shouldn´t be large meals, you must pick well the food, otherwise you'll just gain weight...

Yeah your body sort of gets in gear and gets used to constantly metabolizing so it burns and metabolizes things faster and better... its like it gets more practice and practice makes perfect. Don't expect to eat cake and steak all day and loose weight but I am sure if you eat healthy stuff throughout the day you will look really great along with your exercise plan. Honestly it sounds like you may need to look in to some colon hydrotherapy and other naturalistic medicine in order to rid your body of toxins, parasites, and old waste that could also be preventing weight loss.
