What they probably don't know is that the style came from prison.
the men who were recipients of homosexuality would wear their pants in that fashion to show they were available.
(THIS IS THE GOD'S HONEST TRUTH)
And the designers made it a way of fashion....so our young men could walk around with their butts hanging out of their pants.
It's unbelievable that a man would ever want to go around with his butt out.

Back in the day people used to wear really big or baggy pants to conceal weapons (a crime by the way). It became a trend of course as other things do when younger kids tried to copy things they saw older people doing while they really didn't understand what they were copying. It has over the years become a fashion statement for those with humble beginnings in the urban communities where things like carrying a concealed weapon were daily happenings. Thats the reason why people on the street did it.. the jail thing is another story I'm sure someone who has been in jail knows it.

It's because we can't get to many pants that fit in width and lenght. I'm black of course and most black people have booty. You pants slide off the back of your butt if you belt isn't tighten right but with that big butt it belt is uncofortable. So we do tighten them as tight and we just go with it. Its not just dudes who have that problem women have it to. But there is another reason so lil Ni**az wanna try to be hard to impress women. When later they will know you don't need that if you have some game.

the guys that do that
a-either have nothing in the fron or back to hold thier pants up.
b-shop at the big and tall stores and don't know there correct size
c-have never heard of a belt
d-they like to show everyone that they have clean draws on
you choose. or there just palin stupied

the reason guys wear their pants down is because it started with a prison trend. while in prison inmates are not allowed to wear shoelaces, and belts for the fear that an inmate may try to kill themselves. when they leave jail they are accustomed to this style that it stays apart of their dress and grooming

its fashion according to those that do it but i think its just a way of showing the whole world that he has bought a new underwear.
of cause u know if one doesn't have a clean underwear, you can show it out to people.

because they think its cool...but whats really cool is when they do it, then try to show off in front of girls, trip...fall...and give us a really good laugh. I dated a guy who did that and I would pull his pants up for him...and if he didnt have on a belt, I would chase him around until he gave in and put it on.....it looks really stupid to hang your pants down.

Jailers take your belt away when they locked someone in jail. Naturally your pants fall down. It is the "gangsta" look.

it started in the prisons, men turned gay would dress like this to show they were another man's "bee-atch".
when the style was shown in music videos is when it really caught on.
