Beetle Convertible's are not inexpensive.I can help you find one at a good price,but they hold value very well(another good reason to own one) and a inexpensive one would be quite a strech.A good used Cabrio would be a better VW choice if you want to keep costs down.I can help with that also.vwjcook@yahoo.com

The other answers are helpful, but you should realize that when you choose a car that is a current fad, you will pay a premium price for it and increase your chances of getting burned with a rebuilt wreck. I would expect to pay a premium price and have the car checked very thoroughly.
