do you get frustrated when driving around in your cop car??
i saw a person today that was in the left lane and police car was in the right lane...well, this idiot refused to pass the police car, so they just drove right there, next to them backing up traffic and probably sitting in the officer's blind spot!
the kicker is that i was ahead of this moron in the left lane and i passed the police car b/c i wasn't breaking the speed limit and i was flowing with traffic.
so, are drivers instant boneheads when they see that car with lights???
do you ever get frustrated at people who start paying more attention to you than the other drivers and so, become potentially dangerous???

although, i've been known to ease up on the gas a bit when i see cars pulled over...you never know if there's another cop around with a speed trap...esp at the end of the month...hello ticket quota!

Yes drivers are instant boneheads when they see a patrol car; my favorite is while standing out writing a ticket everyone slams on their brakes to slow down because they were speeding. Now explain to me; how is an officer suppose to jump in his car at 0 miles per hour and catch up to the speeder at 75 mph and give them a ticket?

It's called Black/White panic.....Can't stand for drivers to stay behind me, they should drive as normal even pass the unit. Most don't, they seem to concerned that they will get stopped. Most of the time my speed is slower than posted, so if you pass,no big deal. People draw more attention to their selves by trying not to be the normal they usually are. Judging from some of the answers on here, some people must feel guilty by the site of a unit.

The idiot causes a problem and one of the first answers says "the cops need to get up off their lazy butts and do something about it." Maybe the guy that answered that way was the idiot causing the danger to the cop and other drivers.

See, the cops have been reduced to money makers for the state. They are always looking for something to ticket a person for. This person probably didn't want to even chance it. One big ticket can wipe out a persons income for a week!

Lmfao!!!!!!!!!! Yeah every time i drive around in my patrol car, Some time i see instant bonehead driver next to my trunk and I'll see them and I'll slow down and get behind them then pull them over and I'll say to them, Why are you driving really slow next to me? And they will say uh i don't know and then when i ask them couple more questions then they will choke up and their voice would crack up and I can see their shirt moving back and forth coz their heart are pounding really hard, Then I'll ask them to get outta car and hands on the car then their legs would shake like a chicken legs lol, And i'll check them for illegal things, After that I tell them to get back in the car and I'll tell them to learn how to drive!!!!!!! Beside that, I agree with arizapyro.

I see your point, but I have always chosen to err on the side of caution. You never know when that cop next to you hasn't filled his ticket quota for the day.

Depends on how many times you have been burned. If you have been burned several times one would hesitate to pass even when one knows they are not breaking the law. The police know this and have fun with it.

bunch of losers i do not slow down or treat the cops any different if they want to they can just pull me over for following all the posted laws

i think cops suck dick so you have asked the wrong person,
anyway the cop cars have all round vision and if they were doing there job right they would have sorted the problem
