does anxiety medication just stop working for no reason? or can it make the anxiety and panic worse instead of better?

You probably just need to increase your dosage. However; there might become a point where you might need to switch to something else if your body because too tolerable.

your boday can build a tolerance to it just like any medication and it seems from your question that you are expierencing a "rebound effect" which mena sthat when the meds dont help (for whatever reason) you expierence a rebound and yes it does make the anxiety worse...........see your doctor and also think about seeing an individual therapist so maybe you can address the underlying cause of your anxiety

Your body might just be used to it now...especially if you have been taking it for too long. It is time to see your doctor...he can either up the dose or change your medication. Good luck.

Sometimes meds stop working on you, you need to talk to your Dr and get a change made. You will be okay, just call your Dr.
