downloaded it off london transport tube site and its a pdf file can you suggest an alternative please? cheers

Just download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader. It's free. Adobe.com is the site. They also should have a link on the page where you downloaded the document from. If you cannot install (no permissions), then the only alternative is to find a different format on the same site.

I found that with google in seconds. I don't know if it's current; the official map from www.tfl.gov.uk/tube is best if that matters.

THEY ARE ALL here in PDF format to download free, you need something like adobe acrobat reader which is also free to read and print PDF files.

if your in london they hand out tube maps like confety. + you cant move 2 feet on the undergound without seeing a map.
