you must have unistalled AOL software and it left the start up programs behind.
pres Start>Run>msconfig press OK
go to the Startup Tab up top
look for any aol or aolstartup type of things and uncheck them then press ok and press restart
after you restart another message will pop up just select dont show me again and press again

What program is it? You're able to post this, so I don't think it's the browser. If it is AIM, then you just need to go to the America Online website and download a new version.
Try running a search for AOL on your machine, or go through the Program Files folder. Once you know what software you have, you can better attack your problem.

AOL has those bots or whatever the are... remove all AOL stuff by uninstalling it in the control panel. Then if it still bothers you.. type "MSCONFIG" in the run of your start menu. go to start up tab...then uncheck any AOL stuff. Have a blessed day
