my boyfriend and i started out as friends in february he asked me out i said yes and i am ready to have sex with him bcuz i think he is the one. it is gonna be hard for me to get pregnant bcuz i am on birth control and have been for a while. i told him that i want to have sex . but he keeps telling me he isnt ready. is it me? why isnt he ready?

How old is he? Is he a virgin? Maybe he is just waiting to make sure you are the one he wants to be with. Maybe he wants to make sure you are really ready. Maybe he is afraid of getting you pregnant even though you are on the pill and he could use a condom.
Maybe he is just afraid. It could be many things. Talk to him next time the subject comes up and ask him why. Tell him you will not hold anything against him and that you just want to know why.
Whatever his reasons, support and reassure him. I am sure when the times comes and he is ready, it will be all that more special because his heart and mind will be all that more into it.

Be patient.
It may be his first time and he wants it to be perfect, he wants it to be magical, and he wants to FEEL like it's time. For me, I knew I was as ready as I was ever going to get, I had done as much research as I could do, and the only way to ever feel comfortable was to get in there and do it.
And listen - condoms are ALWAYS a good idea for MANY reasons.

give him time it's not you, he doesn't want to make a mistake by losing it to early he'll be ready before you know it
