I played with legos as a kid and love Lego Land. It is a fantastic place with all sorts of things being built out of .. you guess it legos. There are also rides there.

Check out the site below I am sure you as a parent have already looked at it though.

There is a legoland in the Mall of America where I live in Minnesota. Kids can build and build there for free, though they can't keep what they build.

It will be fun for everyone.

Lego is of course all about the blocks. That's their product.

But they've created a lot of attractions and rides with the blocks that are really interesting, particularly for smaller kids.

A lot of it is scenery (Lego re-created skylines of New York and San Francisco, Lego Medieval Castle, Lego Dinosaurs, and so forth).

However, there are a few full-sized and completely functional attractions. These include two (tame) roller coasters made out of Lego, a 3-D show, and a Lego boat ride.

The 4 year old will love Legoland. The 11 year old might enjoy a short visit, but a full day might push their patience. Not to mention the patience of the adult chaperones (unlike the Disneyland Resort, there's simply nothing for uncles, aunts, and parents at Legoland)

I recommend it, but perhaps only for the morning... and then move onto something else.

Legoland is great for the little kids, but not for the adults.
Your 4 year will have more fun than the 11 year old I think.

Costco has discount deals and check some of the local grocery stores for specially marked coke cans. Adult prices are like $50+ and kids are $25, so its wise to get those discounts!

The legoland is like the Lego store (see Downtown Disney. They have a huge lego store!) but in a theme park setting. They have rides but again not much for adults.

It would be a fun place for the kids....they do have amusement rides there...it is fun..i have been there 3 times taking my 3 cousins ages 9, 7, and 5 there. they really enjoyed it. Its kinda like a Knotts Berry Farm but everything is revolved around the legos....and its not as big as Knotts. but I think they would enjoy it.

This is the favorite theme park of many kids, even over the standard Disneyland etc. Worthwhile indeed.

They have rides and fun park style stuff. It's definitely worth it. However, if you have a four year old they might enjoy the mini golf there too.
