You might be tired due to a drop in blood sugar. Therefore your body craves something sweet to raise the blood sugar. Other people might crave carbohydrates of some kind such as bread, pasta, or potatoes ie French Fries. Carbohydrates turn in to sugar once they are ingested. If you seem to get tired fequently you should probably talk to your doctor.

You might have low blood sugar during those times. Your scenario is something I go through frequently. Perhaps you need to eat less, but more frequently? Also, try some ginseng and chromium picolinate. Chromium helps insulin bind to your cells, thereby helping you process sugar, thereby helping you maintain a more stable blood sugar level. You might find when you take it that your tired spells are less frequent.

Sweetins raise blood glucose levels...glucose is broken down to make quick energy called ATP. ATP is used by cells to do their basic functions....but I saw another post...get your blood sugar checked, sometimes you could also have hypoglycemia.

You feel tired when your blood sugar levels are below normal. A little sugar will revitalize the system. But please check for hypo/hyperglycaemia.
