Even with the return of hot weather (for me the best time to drink it), it just doesn't taste quite right to me, some of the flavour's missing. I've heard rumours about changes in the past couple of years. Anyone else think the same way?

Is there a way to get the good old stuff? Other than looking in my grandfather's basement and hoping to find some old bottles?

The formula has been change MANY times over the years. I can't drink the stuff now, cause it tastes so god-AWEFUL in comparison to when I was young.

I did not think of it till you asked......I don't drink Coke (or Pepsi..whatever) much anylonger but.......you brought up memories.
Indeed as a kid, I found the taste much appealing but now ???? a bit too bland......and they have that new flavour added to it sometimes ; lemon I think.

You have your Q answered above..so it is just my two pennies..

(eh........what will you be drinking tonight....?? A Corona beer or a glass of Champagne ?? :-)

I think that there might be a way to actually protect your secret corporate recipe with a law.In other words you would have to go to a Federal court to change the recipe.These recipes come from the high minds."What do humans need in their diet to prosper?"
