I do because there's too much evidence to not believe in it. If you're interested in it, let me know. Also, I heard a great quote a while ago and although I don't know it verbatim, it went along the lines of this:

Say you believe in the Bible and you're a Chrstian. Then you're held to a higher set of ethical rules and you're what society defines as a good person. So you live your life, you die, and everyone remembers how great you were. And then you go to heaven.

OR

Say you believe in the Bible and you're a Chrstian. Then you're held to a higher set of ethical rules and you're what society defines as a good person. So you live your life, you die, and everyone remembers how great you were. And then you die and there's no heaven.

Either way, you win!

Me. It is accurately translated from the original languages, archaeology supports it (always), it is supported by science (always), it is life changing, it is not man-centered, I have seen too many people changed for the good because of it (YMCA, Salvation Army, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, welfare, Feed the Homeless, Single Parents Ministry, Inner-City Impact, and thousands of ministries have started from people who believe the Bible), oh and secular history also supports the claims of the Bible.

Good question.

I believe the Bible is a book of morals told in the form of fairy tales.

I'll believe Noah's ark when I believe that Jack climbed the bean stock.

the Bible contains different books written by different people from different time, different culture, and different place yet it never contradicts each other. it only tells that God indeed worked in the lives of these people who wrote the Bible so that others may believe and be saved.
