Therapy, medication, and practice in living are the only ways to treat OCD and other mental health issues. If the treatment you are currently getting is not helping you, it may be time to get a second opinion from another Dr or Therapist. There are often more than one approach to therapy or type o therapy. Hope this helps.

I have ocd and very little can help me. It's something I fight with daily, it's hard, but some things I have learned to controll and others I can't. As I got older, it got a little better. I suggest finding out about drugs that might help or finding someone who can help you with little things through out your day. My boyfriend helps me get past little freak outs I have and it helps me a lot.

I've lived with people with OCD, and unless its really severe, it's not to difficult to live with. You could look into herbal rememdies instead of prescription medicines, but that's about it.
