As a daughter of mexican parents, I have to say no. My parents, grandparents, etc., have been hard workers! I am the only one with a high school diploma and a 2yr college degree. It seems ridiculous that even after this country is what it is now because of immigrants, that they'd want to throw everyone out just because... It gets to a point when, if you really think that things are getting out of control here in USA, try to find a humane way to deal with things. My brother works as a Border Patrol supervisor in Texas, he is originally from Mexico. Meaning: Even immigrants should have a chance at a better life.. And it's possible.

Every state is populated by immigrants. Even the "Native Americans" are thought to have immigrated from Asia (via a land bridge at the now Bering Straits). With no immigrants, there would be no state, no United States, no people at all. Would this state be better without immigrants? If you are extremely eco-conscious, the answer is yes, because humans have damaged the land. Otherwise, the answer is NO, because WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS!

Immigration, legal or otherwise, has become a Big Problem, all the way from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, California, north, south, and all points in between. Once upon a time there was a process to move and live and work in america, but that's all been overturned by 'bums rush' immigration. Well, unfortunately, bums also do other things besides hold honest jobs. Crime has gone up, apprehension's gone down, and Congress is kind of just sitting there, unsure of what to do. Individual states are taking initiative though, sanctioning against employers of illegals, and the INS/ICE and the Border Patrol are starting to have some more success with their thankless jobs now that the public's finally paying some attention to all of this. And, it's going to take the public unifying on the issue to turn things around. We don't need this going on the way it does, the politicians can go on about 'the economy' all they want, but bluntly spoken, they don't want to really deal with the problem, so they just ask for more government bailouts when the operating costs of individual states exceed their tax revenues. We're being deliberately forced out of balance, nationwide, and it's time for people to wake UP on this one. What kind of state, what kind of country do you want to live in, one where iron bars over your windows and a shotgun by the door are essential safety items, like some areas in mexico? Do you want to see the US become a 3rd world country, with all the 'benefits' of that way of living? People cry about what all they don't have in america, but True Poverty is easy to find, it's called 'africa', and africa's trying to move into europe, and its' parallel in OUR hemisphere is the northward migration.

LEGAL immigration is ok, there's ways to manage it. ILLEGAL immigration is the kind of negative trend that ends up with people getting robbed, hurt, killed, property stolen, all kinds of things. What's it shaping up like where you live? What initiatives will YOU vote for? Decisions, decisions...
