I hope my roommates don't turn out to be gay guys. It will be a living HELL. If they don't want gay people then why don't they let guys be with girls?? I will be in heaven..lol

Sure! Tell your recruiter that you want 7 female roommates, one for each day of the week (have him put it in you enlistment contract). Then tell him to have Willy Wonka pick up you and your happy little harum every day after your afternoon tea (Prior to your afternoon nap) in the Magic Bus for a trip to the chocolate factory. After you finish nuclear physisist school and graduate as a fleet enema... I mean, admiral, you can be assigned as the joy officer on the Good Ship Lollipop when it sets sail for the Land Of Oz, with ports of call in Xanadu and NeverNeverLand. It'll all work if you ingest a lot of illicit hallucinogenics, Peter Pan!

Nope. You will be stuck with males as roomates. As for the gay issue, there is the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy still.

The rooms are unisex. That means single sex. My sons boot camp did not even have girls in his division. Though they were in the same building.

Why don't you think a little before asking questions. I can't believe that you got into the navy with a thought process like this.

except you have spoken to a army Recruiter already, taken the ASVAB and characteristic the settlement to be a HM be arranged to no longer be one. you're a woman, presently the female edge of HM is overmanned so as that they are permitting in basic terms some each and consistent with annum or no longer permitting them in any respect. This incorporates the two scientific and dental facets. considering the fact which you're lady if for some reason you do get HM you will no longer inevitably be on the Marine edge except in dental or a particular branch the place you're able to be stationed at a scientific institution on a Marine base. Standardly in basic terms men are allowed to circulate to the FMF as you're able to be deployed with them. women are no longer allowed in attempt against the place Marines circulate. i understand 2 women that do artwork at Marine bases one in a scientific institution the different in a dental sanatorium so which you're able to be stationed there, you basically won't be able to be stationed with a Marine Unit itself.

Sorry, men room with men. Most women wouldn't WANT to room with men. You're in school...concentrate on THAT and not girls! And some good advice...even when you're in your command after A school...don't date females in your command. You and she could get into trouble and regardless it usually creates a lot of unecessary drama!
