No, but I would be curious as to why he had the fetish in the first place. I guess the only reason why I'd stop dating him would be if it was some ultra creepy reason and luckily, I don't get creeped out easily...

How do you know this is unusual?
We all get turned on by different things. So I suggest you don't tell her on the first date, or the next or ever! You simply tell her she looks good in them! Nice legs, great taste in trainers and the like. No difference to that dress, underwear, hair.............
Stop the worry. If you had a thing about girls in a Bear Costume, then I think we could understand the challange!

If you're a skinny or chubby guy, then normal socks. Otherwise, chubby guys look even fatter, and skinny guys look bony around the ankles. If you have dry skin or very hairy legs, then tube socks. It looks weird otherwise. If you wear tube socks, though, fold them over, please! Guys look REALLY nerdy with up-the-leg tube socks. If you are an average weight guy with normal or muscular legs, why not show them off? If you're a guy with nice legs, then by all means, wear low cut socks! They just look sexier, although socks aren't the first thing a girl notices about a guy, lol.

No, I don't believe I would stop seeing him. I'd probably discuss it first, then first a way to fit both of our wants into the relationship. Different strokes for different folks:).
