I found a good link for this when i was trying to find the meaning of the candle colors.... also if you didn't know you can use herbs and other stuff to coat the candles for the purpose you are using them for, it just makes it a stronger spell so to say.

Hope the link below helps you.

SmartyPants should not be judging what you should and should not be doing. I am a christian, I do not know what the colors mean. I just wanted to comment on what smartypants said, because I think their needs to be more tolerance shown on this forum for the differences of our beliefs. This is a forum where we are allowed to express our different beliefs.

well, really its all your decision....what ever generates more energy for you on a personal level (example.....lets say someone tells you to use blue for energy, but blue makes you think of or feel sad well then blue is not what you should use for energy),and the studying will become easier with the understanding that all of the books are personal thoughts and feeling of the author or certain groups used for guidance not rules set in stone...............what do you associate certain colors with?.........here are some examples for me personally...RED: i think of blinding energy(for anger/rage and for passion)......YELLOW: i think bright, happy, fun..........BLUE: i think peace, relaxation,rememberance..................................................so a good exercise would be to sit down and personally give meaning to each color then use that as your reference guide.................good luck
