I am going away for the weekend and leaving my dog and boyfriend at home. All I can think about is how much I am going to miss and worry about my dog. Is this common?

dogs and cats p.c.. up on human vibes. My cat comes and lays on my lap at the same time as i'm crying. He probably only senses your rigidity, needs to inform you each little thing will be ok. Lol. Animals are humorous like that. I have an Australian Shepherd. i'm Epileptic and after I've had a siezure he sits at my ft and follows me round all day. he's not any longer even an help canines, what's extremely cool, is we followed him. in uncomplicated phrases had him for type of six months now, if that. So attempt no longer to agonize too a lot about him, he only loves ya and needs to target to convenience you. wish you're not any more in a tremendous quantity of discomfort after your surgical treatment, that continually sucks.

Very, very common. It just shows that you have a strong bond with your dog. I worry about my dogs, even if I just go out to the grocery store. I worry about them and miss them, just as I do my own kids. They trigger a sort of "mothering" instinct in us sometimes. I suppose it's because of the way that they depend on us...

Enjoy your trip! Your dog (and your boyfriend) will be happy to see you back!

Yes it is . In fact last year , we had to be be out of town for a couple days, and my little baby was in the kennel. All through the trip all I could think about was him. It was like leaving a real baby behind. And when we got back, First stop : Pick my doggy, Second stop : Petsmart for some yummy treats , Third stop : Home sweet Home : )

Absolutely not! I love all of my dogs like their my children! Call me crazy? When they have puppies, I even joke that I'm their Grandma! Did you know that when you travel, that all of Motel 6's accept pets! Cool to take them with you, instead of leaving them behind! The coolest part of having dogs, have you ever felt that they love, trust, and understand you more than humans? Go figure! Just keep loving them unconditionally, and you'll get at least as much back!

Absolutely. My husband and I went away for a week and missed the 2 dogs and cat a lot. I kept calling our house/dog/cat sitter to see how they were. Turns out we missed them a lot more than they missed us.

No way. Not weird at all. I worry about my pooch all day, every day. He is like my baby!

Consider your dog lucky that he has an owner that cares so much about his wellbeing!
