This is my belief about life:
We are here so that God can experience God's self.
God is absolute. In this state there are no contradictions and no relativity. Everything is constant, absolute.
There are no temperature fluctuations, for instance. How would you know it's hot, if you never experienced cold? How would you know you're tall, if you never saw someone shorter than you? How would you know love if you never experienced hate or fear?
God knows what God is, but the knowing of a thing and the experiencing of it are two entirely different things. For example you know what ice cream is, but experiencing the taste of it is different (and SO much better) than just intellectually knowing that it is frozen cream and sugar.
God created life as we know it so that God could experience God's self in the world of relativity through us, who are each an individuation of the whole.
God does not judge us for our actions...after this physical incarnation ends we will return to the spiritual dimension and decide if we want to stay or experience another physical incarnation. This is how we serve God.
So, live life with joy and gratitude and take advantage of the chance to fully experience every event that comes your way.

What do I live for? Being in God's will. When I'm in God's will everything goes right. Everything seems in sync. Knowing that someone died for me so that I may live reminds me that I am special to God no matter what anyone says. The world is a tough place and people are not always nice but God's word says "Do not fear for I am with you. Do not be afraid for I am your God, I will strengthed you and help you...". I hold on to that. I'm 44 years old and have only had the Lord in my life for the last 12 years but now my life feels right. I have no emptiness. My ministry is kids and when I see the kids hearts in worship, THAT's what I live for! Knowing I'm helping them learn about God and his awesome son Jesus!

I can best answer that with a poem:
I See His Blood Upon the Rose”
by Joseph Mary Plunkett
I see his blood upon the rose
And in the stars the glory of his eyes,
His body gleams amid eternal snows,
His tears fall from the skies.
I see his face in every flower;
The thunder and the singing of the birds
Are but his voice—and carven by his power
Rocks are his written words.
All pathways by his feet are worn,
His strong heart stirs the ever-beating sea,
His crown of thorns is twined with every thorn,
His cross is every tree.
I live for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

" Once a man or woman finds their origin in life, it will LEAD them to there purpose in life." To truly live is to serve God. How can you truly live when we are, by nature, a sinner... a slave to
sin? Why do you think people have such a guilty conscience. We know were doing something wrong. It is like truck heading towards you. You close your eyes and say, " there is no truck" but in reality, it's there. We deny what there or don't want to refuse to see it. We chase for something that is temporary and not eternal.

Live:
To be alive; exist.
To continue to be alive: lived through a bad accident.
To support oneself; subsist: living on rice and fish; lives on a small inheritance.
To reside; dwell: lives on a farm.
To conduct one's life in a particular manner: lived frugally.
To pursue a positive, satisfying existence; enjoy life: those who truly live.
To remain in human memory: an event that lives on in our minds.

To live is to flourish.
Care and feeding of the human being you are in care of. You are not in care of anyone else, unless you have children. So mind your own human.
And don't think for one moment you know what's best for anyone else.
Don't you think that would be a bit elitist?
