As long as you don't forget to mow my lawn, clean my pool, paint the house, take care of my garden, clean my home and take care of my kids. Oh and don't forget the neighbors they'll want the same services if nobody has sneaked into their homes yet, of course I'll charge the neighbors a fee for this because well, I can and you won't say a word or it's back to your neighborhood.

Now, when you can't do all that work I'll help you sneak in a few more friends, for a fee of course. But you don't tell anyone because you want to stay in my house, it's better than yours, so you'll do what I say when I say or you will placed back in your home.

Yep, you can help me get rich while I stick it to my neighbors, your happy, sort of, cause my home is better than yours, I'm happy cause I'm getting rich, and don't have to pay the city anything since you don't exist.

As for my neighbors, I know they'll complain because your living in the neighborhood and they're paying the city to shelter, feed and educate you and your children. But I don't care your making me rich. The city doesn't care because I take care of the city officials. So you see you've brought me lemons and I made lemonade, Me and my city official buddies relax drinking that lemonade on my back porch and watch you work while the neighborhood wonders where you came from.

You are an ignorant little piece of work aren't you. After sneaking into my home you are going to have to do the worst work in the house that I refuse to do then, just like illegal immigrants in this country. You will be cleaning out toilets, working in the garden (I have a huge one) in sweltering heat for 14 hours a day. Oh, and your family won't be there, because when you have your family with you we have found that you aren't as productive. So you won't get to see them until the off season. But you will still send all the money you can to them right? I am of course going to be giving you a whopping $3.00 an hour. Sound like fun? Idiot.

What about all the Americans who exploit the labor of illegal aliens?

If they weren't seeking ways to pay as little as possible for work, the illegals would have no jobs to take.

It's simple really: make legal immigration easier and establish treaties to improve Mexico's economy to where their living and labor standards are more on par with ours. If you do those two things, we won't need the expense of building walls, etc. We'll always have to patrol the border, but if you don't change the conditions that are creating the problem, they will always find a way around the security.

if we are here, it's not for the love of this country, but for necessity to survive, im sure that you would do the same if you were in the same situation...piss poor!!!....most of the illegal immigrant that break the law, is because they are poor and don't have money to get a visa and come legally, so they choose the other option....it all comes down to survival strategies, think about it.....what would you do in that situation, where you have family members that need to be supported and your country doesn't offer you the same opportunities another country does???......you go out and do the jobs that illegal immigrants are hired to do and then talk about sneaking in and getting fed, educated and being sheltered!!!!...survival man, survival!!!!...first educate yourself!!!

I'd like to try to sneak into another country, get a job that's off the books so I don't pay taxes, send my kids to public school, receive free medical assistance, have everybody translate their native language into my foreign language to accomodate me and get free social services.

NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!! In any other country I'd get the boot. But in America, hey come one come all... Legal or illegal. And hey, if you wait long enough, George Bush is gonna give you a free pass and you'll be legal and your kids and family over in los barrios can all come over here and be legal too simply because they're related to you.

PLEASE Don't respond with America is a melting pot or this country was built by immigrants. Yeah, yeah we know. Thanks for the hard work and all but illegals TODAY are keeping American wages low. Why in the hell would the Feds want to raise the minimum wage when employers can get dirt cheap immigrant labor that means they don't have to pay unemployment or social security taxes on?

Love the mix of culture that my country offers but it pisses me off that people are getting a free ride here.

Check out this: "By forcing employers to require Social Security cards – even bogus ones – IRCA did manage to rope illegal immigrants into the system. Last year, contributions by illegal immigrants made up about 10 percent of the Social Security surplus – the difference between what the system takes in and what it doles out. " - Ruben Navarrette Jr. The San Diego Union-Tribune. Illegal Immigrants also pay sales tax. So I don't really think it's completely like you say.

I think you are ill informed and need to research the issues, take a sociology and economics class as well as become aware about US foreign and corporate policies and direct your anger to the corporations, who as I write this ,are actively recruiting illegal aliens and paying others to smuggle them into the country and having jobs waiting for them when they get here, I know the daily breeze in san pedro, was not the only newspaper, that reported this story so it is no big secret, attacking the poor and exploited is the wrong approach, that is what I believe

Instead of getting mad, let's stop the whole reason for illegal immigration: illegal jobs.

Impose huge fines on employers. The hordes coming across the border will slow to a weak trickle.

People who come here illegally aren't thinking about how they are violating the law. They are following our most basic human instincts, survival and protecting one's family.

We can't fault them for that. Most illegals come here and work hard. Maybe their "in your face" defiance requires an attitude adjustment, but these people don't understand the issues involved.

WOW......how many times can this question be asked with SAME analogy EVERYTIME and the same people answer EVERYTIME. So far about 275 times.....yep.....but most throw in a sandwich or a dog or something else.

So I will answer for the 276th time (community guideline)......BUT I will answer the LAST question.

I don't mind.
I guess I will be making spaghetti for 22 extra at the table and will need to rustle up some sleeping bags.

I live on the border with Mexico we now have national guard troops patrolling and plans for a new fence going up.

Now last year we were talking about how many people die out in the bad lands from the heat and lack of water.

Last year we talked about how many young girls end up dead and missing, near El passo it's around 300+ dead and no guesses as to missing. maybe four times that???

Honestly I can understand people sneaking her willing to take any job just so they can feed their families.

but if the new policy about keeping them out means it saves lives then I'm all for it.
but I'm old enough to have seen this before and just as fast as they start a program like this it loses favor and no one cares anymore...
