I went out with this guy last night (we had been out a few times and he was nice) and he kept buying me drinks then we left and he asked if i wanted go for a ride.....well of course i needed to sober up a little well as we are driving he begins to look for a place..........needless to say i am very pissed

Partly because they were allowed to get away with it. Think about it...and I'm not saying he's in the right at all because he was way off base...but he kept feeding you drinks. You should always be cautious when you go out with people you don't know all that well. So what...you went out with him a few times...still not enough time to trust him completely! Try sticking to more conservative drinks, like wine...you can sip it carefully and warm up to your buzz without going overboard. Also, watch your drink...you never know when your date or even some random stranger might spike it with the date rape drug. Some guys will certainly try to pull this no matter what you do, but if you stay aware, you are always one step ahead of him should he in fact be a creep. Oh, and I wouldn't ever call this guy again or pick up his calls if he calls you. It will send your message loud & clear to say nothing at all.

Stop making yourself sound like your so prim and propper.
Youve been out with him a few times.
You agreed to go drinking with him.
After a few dates, regardless of wether you were drinking or not, he is going to expect to move the relationship on.
You agreed to go for the ride. What did you think was going to happen?
Making out in the car would have been an acceptable next step, whether you were drinking or not.
If you dont realize that, then you are just clueless.

Because some guys get desperate and tired of taking things into their own "hand" (if you know what I mean) and think that they can pull some macho bullcrap and force a girl to do what they want. Some parents just never taught their sons that "NO MEANS NO" and romance is the right way to win a girl, not alcohol.
Guys like that give guys like me a bad name.

Well the answer is simple. They are not guys. they are shy girls in guy's skin. They are not man enough to do the right thing. Probably because they think you might refuse them when they do the right thing like asking. Which I think is pretty stupid to do the wrong thing because you can't take a no for an answer.

Anytime they keep drinks in front of you, there is an underlying motive. Know your limit and stop drinking, That will leave you more in control of the situation. It is time to get rid of this one and look for something better.

You let him do that to you. I'm sorry to say but the only reason we buy girls drinks is to get them drunk and sleep with them, get them drunk and sleep with them because they are our boss, or get them drunk and sleep with them.
