They were a truly awesome band. There was real emotion and feeling in their music. Some of the bands that play today have no idea what it means to be an artist. The Beatles are true legends.

Love'em. Don't know why but their music just never gets old for me, it's a reminder of a simpler time that a lot of people are nostalgic for. And as with most nostalgia, people don't remember things quite as they were but as they idealize them... which is pretty how the Beatles were viewed during much of the 60's, idealized. Probably best not to dwell on the reality and just crank up "Paperback Writer" and think of happier days.

One of the greatest movements in history. They literally changed the entire world with their music & views. Of course, the music had to be good or no one would have ever heard of them. Lennon & McCartney are the most recorded composers in history, covered by artists ranging in diversity from Limp Bizkit to the Boston Pops symphony and everything in between. That coupled with the post-War attitude of the world and international communication created one of the most dynamic forces in history. One that still holds sway over the culture today. Perhaps not as forcefully as once before but nearly every sector of our modern culture has the influence of the Beatles to thank for sending it in its current direction. They were together for only about 12 years and we're still talking about them 35 years after their breakup. Amazing.

The Beatles are pretty cool; there music is really great, and really fun to listen to, and sounds a lot more classical than most other bands. I especially love Elanore Rigby, but most of their songs are awesome (all that I've heard are).

The Beatles are probably the most influencial rock group ever. They had great songs and no one has come close to being as great as they were. George Harrison is my favorite. In my opinion he wrote some of their most introspective and simple songs. I love them

If it wasn't for the Beatles, we would not have 'Rock & Roll'. Their music is still influences groups today.

Aside from being just great music, The Beattles influenced almost everyone who came after them in the rock genre. But they were, of course, influenced by those who came before them.

They were the single most influential artists of the 20th century and they are still relevant today. If there's a God he sounds like McCartney.
