yes there is.I believe strongly in Him.When I want to succeed in something or want to do something I just ask his permission and I do it and then I win.

Yes there is...I have a question for you to ponder...
Wouldn't you rather live life like there is a God to find out that there isn't, than to live life like there is no God to find out that there is....and that His patience is wearing thin??
I understand that you don't want to belive in vain, but trust me (I know through experience), if you follow God, He will guide you. And you will want nothing but Him everyday.
Truly following Him w/ all your heart will never be in vain....it's hard and there are many obstacles and persecutions, but its never in vain.

Its all about FAITH. Consider this: when you sit down in a chair, do you ask the chair if it will hold you up? No, you sit down with the FAITH that it will hold you. Similarly, you must have FAITH that God is there and will hold you up when you need him. Sometimes, as with the chair, he will not support you. Its okay he is still there and always will be. There may be some other reason he did not help in this instance. If you have FAITH that there is a GOD, he will let you know he is there. Do not believe in vain, but in FAITH!!

I think the better question is do you need a god? I sure don't. Let the love of friends and family fill your life. Instead of asking for things (some call it praying), empower yourself to accomplish all that you need. In short, don't ask for miracles, be the miracle (stole that one from a Jim Carey movie - Bruce Almighty). If there is a god in our universe (the size of which we cannot even begin to comprehend) I'm sure that he's, she, it, is pretty busy and has got a lot better things to do than listen to than the 4.5 billion people who live on this planet, all praying to win the lottery.

Your gonna get alot of no's, and alot of yes's.
Personally, I believe there is, and I look at it this way.
If Im wrong, there is no God, and when I die, I no longer exist in any form, I have lost nothing. If there is a God, and I dont believe, and I die I go to hell, Ive lost everything, but if I believe, Ive gained etenity in love. Why not take the chance?

Just because you cannot something does not mean it does not exist.
On the other hand, if you have a painting, there must be a painter, correct.
If you have a building there has to be a builder.
Since there is creation there must be a creator, that creator is God.

Yes! People will give you many accounts and descriptions on what God is like, but the most substantial proof is in the Bible. It was written by men (who were directed by God on what to record and write), and has stood the test of time.

It has been proven that there is a God. Look at astronomers and highly intellegent computer experts. Both will tell you that there is something greater that has made us. The only way to explain how the universe was started was by something created it!

"...for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
There is another scripture that says if you will seek Him with all your heart and all your soul you will find Him. Deut 4:29
God can't be proven or explained. You cannot attain to Him through head knowledge or human works. By faith, if you will seek Him, you will find Him. It's a promise.
