I eat only halel meat when I go to a halel deli.
I cover my head sometimes.
I have a beard.
I own a copy of the Qur'an.
I respect Ramadan.
But I am sorry.... Until the Muslim world appreciates zany humor and a little kinky fun sometimes,
NO WAY AM I GOING TO JOIN YOUR CLUB!!!

Is it possible that Islam is right and all other religions are wrong and that the 5 billion people in the world who don't believe in it are going to be damned for eternity. Sure, but I highly doubt it. Besides any god that judges you based on what you believe vs. your actions is a god I will NEVER worship - even if he does exist.

Go ahead and quote some passage out of the Koran and hold it up like its fact. The end result is I don't care, even in the EXTREMELY unlikely event it is fact, I would rather be damned than be a part of something that would condemn other people simply for having differing views.

In the end Islam is likely bullshit. Just like most other organized religions (including christianity).

Just accept that you don't know the truth for sure and that we/you are on a journey of discovery. Go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe, just recognize that these are only your beliefs not facts, and have an open mind.

I believe there are less than one hundred million Muslims in today's world because no self conscious Muslim will say "all of we have to be muslims" True Muslims are respectful and peaceful people, they'd rather die than harm another. Real Muslims believe in equal rights of black and white, men and women, Muslim and Christian...

I am a Muslim and I like it, but I don't think we should pressure people to be Muslims. If you pressure someone to be a Muslim then they will hate Islam even more.

Many Muslims are sincere, dedicated and caring; often they are very fervent in their way of life and zealous with their message.

Many others are just gangster types with no real life outside of violence; many of the men are deceived into believing that Allah will reward them with 72 virgins upon completion of a homicidal murder mission of self-sacrifice and are therefore DANGEROUS to humanity.

There is only one Son of God - Jesus Christ - and He is the Truth incarnate. Many of His teachings are duplicated in other belief systems, and good people everywhere are the better for that.

However, there is only ONE way to eternal life, and that is through accepting Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as Lord and Savior.

This truth was given to Abraham and Isaac was promised to him, but he rushed things and Ishmael was conceived first, outside of God's will and plan. From those lineages comes war and bloodshed that is inexcusable.

If a Muslim truly cares about other peoples, he is a rare treasure! Do you really love others?

Yeah I think Mohammad wanted that too, hence this verse from your "holy" Quran...

[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax ( jizya ) in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

I think most Muslims are good people. I also believe in freedom of religion. Noone should be taxed and opressed simply because they don't follow Mohammad's ideology of world dominance.
The Nazis tried that once, and look what happened to them.
God comes to everyone in whatever manner He chooses, so stop trying to play God by shoving Islam in everyone's face every chance you get.

Peace good, jihad bad.

I'm not a muslim and don't think we all should become one, what do you want all of us to do, go back to 1500, treat our women like property?do you want all the world to be like iran, iraq, Afghanistan, those people are so out of touch with the world it's pathetic, you are way too repressed & obsessed, I don't need to pray all day, I've got a life to live and freedom of choice to do as I please without some know it all telling me to do this and that just to satisfy his ego. if you just follow the golden rule; do unto others as you would have them do unto you, thats all the religion you need!
