i think its something that should be tought. i live in MI and the school board wont even allow teaching safe sex. i think kids need to learn to accept ppl for who they are. who they were born as. straight ppl dont decide to be straight. gay ppl dont decide to be gay.

I dont see anything wrong with it...They wont show them any gay porn, they just prepare the next generations to be acceptive and tolerant towards 'different' people.
People like you, would think it is crazy for black people to vote and be in the army back in the 50's but now people just laugh at these events. The same thing will happen with homosexuality whether you like it or not.
Homosexuals have proven that they are not perverts that go after sex and sodomy, they are the same with straight people. A straight guy's fantasies are not less perverted...If you are scared that children will turn gay, then you obviously dont know that you cant just turn gay, especially because some people talk to you about it. You just become educated, tolerant and you know how to act as a civilised person. People who claim that homosexuality is a choice they are bi sexuals themselves and there was an actual point in their lives where they had to make a choice. I really doubt that the reason straight people dont practice homosexuality is just ethical...Anyway, my point is that people should open their eyes and accept others for who they are. I am gay, I have so many straight friends, we have always been so close and it was never an issue, because I am a human being, who likes cars, sports, comics, movies, breathes air like everyone else. I just happen to be in a great relationship with a guy and not a girl. It doesnt affect anything in my life.
I hope one day you meet someone who is gay, and explains some things to you.

Oh what the hell is wrong with that? Teach our kids to be tolerant of that which is different or unusual? What could possibly be wrong with that... their idiot red-neck parents will still be teaching them that gay = evil when they're at home, so why the big deal... Everyone in this society is going to know what homosexuality is by the time they hit puberty anyway, so why not teach kids that gay people are still human beings with human rights. Would you rather teach them to hate? Somebody please explain to me why this is a bad thing.

Of course i want it taught. The world is chaning and there is nothing wrong with gay marriage. If they love each other let it be.

Teach our kids now to not judge these people for their beliefs. Hopefully, if its taught, our children might not be as closeminded as some of you.

I take it you're being sarcastic. What exactly is wrong with endorsing gay marriage? Do you feel the gay lifestyle is somehow dirty? Don't you think they should be allowed to commit themselves just as fully to those they love, just as heterosexuals can?

I'm glad I live in Canada... not that I am gay, I am not; but neither am I a bigot.

Definitely. Especially with all the narrow-minded Christians trying to take over the US. How dare they try to tell everyone what to do!

Those of us with brains need to get together on this homo marriage farce. This is going way too far. Why is there no unity to stop this BS?
