i was fighting with a girl across the room cause she was telling me that i was going to get our teacher in trouble (long story) and sarcascally i said "yeah cause he's such a bad teacher" and i didn't mean it at all cause he's a good teacher, and he heard and thought i was serious and now he's really pissed and he keeps bringing it up in front of the class saying stuff like "yeah some of you think i'm a bad teacher" etc what should i do?

Sounds like your teacher needs to grow up a little bit and stop being so catty. Simply put, apologize. If he keeps being catty, then I think you should explain the situation to your parents and have them talk to the school.

ok first of all... if he's a good teacher, if you reach to him to talk, he will listen, Now that you have his attention, explain everything that happened (the long story), if you're honest to him, he'll understand, he's bringing it up when he can, cause he's hurted, he must like you as his student too, that's why it hurted...
Talk to him! Communication is the best weapon to solve things like this.

pull him aside after class and let him know you didnt mean it the way he took it.
it's important to have a good relationship with teachers, b/c many teachers provide extra help to students they like.
dont worry though this is totall fixable, some of my all time favorite teachers and i got into an arguement now and then.
you might want to not interact with the girl with whom you fought with anymore.

tell him that you ere being sacastic and that you think he is a good teacher.... communicate with your teacher if not nothing will get ressolved
