I do not know for sure the race of Adam and Eve. Honestly because there were no races at that time because they were the first people and were thus the only extant race. I do not see the curse on Cain as being him turning black. I do believe he was marked in some way that was evident to other people, but i do not think it was him turning black necessarily. As far as the races are concerned, it is simply genetics. There is a certain amount of randomness to genetics that allow for anamolies to appear. Those anamolies can be triggered by any number of things from just a random occurance to enviromental changes. I think that, over time, those anomalies are what caused the various races along with some environmental changes and the people spreading out. As various people displaying various anomalies began intermarrying, other races were developed and so on. That is my personal belief based on my study of scripture and science (they can be used together after all).

Well they were either black or a deep brown, judging from the area of the world they came from. Cain would have then been made white or chinese. I think they were probably white though. Cain was of a lighter colour, brown. Some believe that the mark that God gave him was the Third Eye, and appeared to us as a dot on his forehead like Pakis wear.
Now the third eye would allow him to peer into ppl's souls. Why would God give him such a usefull gift? To teach him a lesson of course. He killed Abel because he mistook his genuine love of God a sibling rivalry. With the eye, he can never make that mistake again. Not only that, but he can see the evil in ppl's souls. God seems to think ignorance is bliss, that's why seeking knowledge always seems to end badly (like being kicked out of Eden). Cain would know evil in all it's forms, whether he likes it or not.
This would explain the rise of other religions as well. Meditation would be a way for him to close his eye and see the world free of the evil that he sensed was everywhere.
As for the races, I think once ppl move farther north, their skin became whiter, darker as they moved south. As for the chinese, passage through the desert made their eyes narrow to shut out the sun and the robes they covered themselves in to avoid the heat of the sun lightened their skin.
Remember, creationism does say that evolution didn't occur after God created the universe. Not only that, but evolution does not say that God didn't create the universe, so both could be true and this part of the bible actually matches what evolution shows quite well.

There's no way of knowing where exactly the Garden of Eden was. The current Tigres and Euphrates rivers in the Middle East were just named that after the Flood.
We, as White Anglo-Saxon Protestants(Wasps) are very ethno-centric in our thoughts about religion. Most pictures of Jesus are of a pasty faced, straight haired, ripply muscled guy, where he was an Israily, who was probably in good condition from being a carpenter for 30 years, but we don't know, and was dark skinned and dark haired.
In Asian cultures, thier religious pictures are of asians. Ditto in African countries.
As far as the cursing of Cain, it could have been a mark on his face, a skin disease, 8 arms and 10 feet, purple skin and 3 foot tall, no one knows. The whole "black curse" thought came from the South and started during the late 1800's after the Cival War as a bigited religious retaliation against the recently freed black slaves.
I hope this helps.

There is a story in the bible Maybe you'll remember it. When this king was mad at God and wanted to try and kill him so he had his people build a big tower and he went up in the tower and shot an arrow towards the sky hoping to hit God. Well in Gods wrath, he made everyone on earth speak different languages and different color one stated to black. So people would be unable or unwanting to communicate with each other. If god was black or any other color than the majority of the people in the world would have been that way and the whites would have been slaves instead. Why is it so hard for blacks to realize that the whites are more Superior to other races, and that's been scientifically pr oven.

Funny thing about religions is that they don't take other races into account very often. I'm a Hindu, and I find it true for Hinduism as well. I think it's because most religions were founded long ago, when there wasn't much intercultural interaction, so other races just aren't considered. But I believe the presence of a higher spirit is true for all types of people, adn I don't believe that any divine stories are actually true, because that's not the way of Hinduism - so I guess I can't help you with your Adam and Eve dilemma.

It's a false assumption to beleive anything, especially how Jesus looked. He probably looked more like Osama than the pretty pictures we see in churches!
In the Bible it says that the Son's of God took the daughters of Adam and Eve as wives. We have no idea what they looked like, other than the reference that God created Man in his own image.
When man dispersed he took on traits based upon the environment.
Evolution does play a part in mankind. We do evolve as we mate, share traits and things change. Blue eyes, green eyes, brown eyes. Blonde hair, red hair.
All these things come from the muliple possiblities that God created in us. Millions of sperm, each with different traits. Dozens of eggs, each with different traits. They come together and create different things.
Then these different things go off and evolve separately.
If we were a brown skin creation, like a Semite, then the color can go in both directions. It can become darker and browner. It can become lighter and albino.
While GOD is the creator, GOD had a community. The Bible says so, plain and simple. There were what we call "Angels" and Satan was a part of his community until being cast out and there were Sons of God, probably daughters and maybe a Mrs. God. God created MAN in his own image, therefore we are a physical manifestation of God. If God were a total sprit, as some claim, we'd be a sprit to! Maybe we are! Maybe this mortal world is another by product of eating the apple.
What we lack is the fruit of the tree of life, which God proclaimed would make us like GODS, so we were denied this and have finite lives.
Who walked on water with Jesus, was it Peter? I foget now. But maybe we are between spirit and material and it is our shallow minds and finite lives that keep us trapped, otherwise we could do eveyrthing Jesus did and maybe more, except live forever. That is reserved for God, and perhaps the community of God.
Jesus said we can do everything he did.
God said it was only denial of the Tree of Life that would keep us from being like Gods.
That's how close we are, yet we are far.
We have no idea of the color scheme of God's community, but we were created in his image. Some might call it cloning. So we have some of God's direct attributes and as a result of the marriages with Gods sons some of their attributes.
All of these factors, as it is with a litter of mice from a white female and a black male, can produce all sorts of different "types."
When all is said and done, a mouse is a mouse. It doesn't matter if it's black or white.

Everyone wants to think the people they relate to in the Bible are just like them, it's human nature. Adam and Eve could have been any color. I've never been taught that Cain was cursed to be black.... The only thing i think that comes close is that one of Noah's sons laughed at his father and got cursed him to be a servant. But color was not involved i don't think, we just assume it was. Makes you wonder what else we just assume.

You have seen them as white but it might be different for other people. In Ethiopian Churches you will see pictures of an African looking Jesus but in swedish/some other European churches you will see Jesus depicted as a white, blonde, blu eyed person. People want to see Jesus as a person who is close to them. The same applies for Adam and Eve. I think you asked this question because you are from a white majority country.

im not seeing how it matters what color they were at all, nor do i see how being any particular color would be a curse. I think the most likely scenario was that that they were a slightly darker color, while some groups of people got pale depending on thier locality, others got darker based on thiers.
God may have created us, but mother nature has her own set of rules to follow
