yes they do. i have one on my screen door, its a sliding one. its a latch that is as high as the door handle, so baby cant reach it. maybe look at home depot or lowes, they probably have something.

At HomeDepot or Lowe's, just about any hard whare store has a wide selection of different locks and can work on any door.
My oldest son when he was 3 learned how to unlock 2 dead bolts and a chain lock to get outside. I invested in those locks you can put at the top of a door hanging down. It makes it a little harder.

There might be, not sure. What you could do is buy a cheap alarm that you stick in the door way so if someone opens the door an alarm sounds. That way you are alerted that the child has opened the door.

You can probably buy them at Babies R us or Walmart, if you can't find them, just take the lock you have now and move it up and out of reach.
