To make a phone number private, you must have the phone company make it UNLISTED and UNPUBLISHED. It cost a fee and you have to ask for both. Also, you should time it right with when the "new" phone book comes out. I paid for unpublished and unlisted after the phone book was printed....waste of money.

yes it a new service called privatephone.com that you can use so people do not get your real number and it FREE.
