When I worked at coke, it tasted different right off the line than it does a few days later. It tastes more like pepsi at first. They told us it was sort of a fermentation time or something that changes the taste. Also, if it is a diet anything, the chemicals break down, especially in the heat, and that is why they have expiration dates on them now.

It's probably because it's from a different batch of coke.

In other countries, coke only ships them the syrup, so the taste of coke is different in the USA than in Europe.

By only selling the syrup to bottling plants, this lets the bottler have liberty with how much of the bubbly sugar stuff they put in it. Therefore, one batch of coke could have a different concentration of syrup than a different batch.

It's like how coke out of a soda fountain (the machines at quinos, subway, etc) taste different than coke out of a bottle.

I be conscious it too, they are bottled at diverse resources and probable have diverse minerals in them. My in demand bottled water is Evian, and in demand bottled sparking water is Perrier. Voss tastes like city water.

Your taste buds change based on what you've eaten and other items. Coke's taste does not change.
