Start by taking all your General Education classes at a community college and also take extra classes in Photography.
When you transfer to a university or design school, it will only take 2 years for bachelors degree and only another 2 years if you want a masters.

the first step would be to learn how to spell college correctly. you can get a photography degree from a 4 year university, but lots of smaller schools and trade schools will have photography programs as well.

It depends where you want to be hired. Technically you could do photography for a local newspaper without a degree, but a four year degree would be best.

You don't have to at all, but if you want a fine arts degree as a credential, I'd say a 4-year bachelor's degree in art.
