Not if all your doing is "talking" however you might give some of them the wrong impression about you and that can also lead to unwanted advances. Just be careful.

One thing you should consider is that your intentions may be innocent, but the guys that you are talking to may not be so innocent. You have to be careful with those kinds of things, especially on the Internet because you don't really know who your talking to. He may say hes 16 but really hes 18..or worse...he may say hes 16 and be 47. You have to ask yourself a question. What does a 47 year old man or an 18 year old man want with a 13 year old. If you feel uncomfortable with someone, your brain is telling you something is wrong. Be careful on the Internet. It is just as dangerous as being out in a big city you don't know alone.

It all depends on your conversation. I can understand why it would be more interesting for you to talk to older men becasue they have alot more life experience than you so they could give you good information on things. However, be careful. You can talk to guys and still have no idea who they are and what they have in mind. For all you know you could be talking to guys that have a very bad crime record. It's okay to talk innocently, but I wouldn't be talking dirty or giving away any personal information.

It is a good idea to make friendship with elders and experienced persons. You learn a lot more from them and you can discuss anything with them without hesitation.
But be careful, you are a minor in the eyes of law.
You are mentally immature, but only bodily matured.
You will learn every thing very easily when you are 18.
Don't be in a hurry to lose your virginity for nothing.
Now your body is talking and not the brain.

well, there is nothing wrong talking to any age group, you feel like older age ppl are having more experince so u will get ur answers immediately. Now the only thing important is, you have to judge, what is right and what is wrong for your life. Keep talking, this is the third best way of learning, i.e. learning by other ppl's experinces.

I think it is natural for younger girls to want to talk to older guys because guys tend to mature emotionally at a later age, but there is definitely something wrong with the older guys talking with females your age. They aren't interested in just talking. Keep that in mind. Haven't you seen the Dateline stories on sexual predators?!? Be careful, girl!

you could definately get him in alot of trouble...so no lying about your age...but if he knows your real age and he dont care then his a@$ should get introuble.....but dont do anything with him...more then likely thats what he wants from you....hes looking for a younger girl so that he can control her or take over her and consume her with these feelings that she will start to have and then get her to have sex with him...and thats really all he wants....even though you might be saying no hes not like that i would know....you wouldnt he lets you believe that your special and that he likes you and he cares but what he wants is the botty....because if he wanted more and a mature relationship he would be with someone is own age....no offense so please dont read this and get offened....i was there...i was talking to older guys myself at your age until i realized what they wanted....your young and though you may think you know alot about what your doing you really really dont...i'm 23 now and when i was your age i thought that i knew what i was doing and how to handle a relationship...but i found out when i got older and had real relationships that i was wrong...and you will see it too...i hope you listen and take the advice....and dont think that i'm picking on you because your young i answered this question because it reminded me of myself when i was younger and if there were yahoo answers back then this would probably be a question that i would ask...good luck and take care of yourself because if you dont no one else will

Older friends are okay, but no sex. That will get your new "friends" in a lot of trouble.

As well, sexually you and an older guy are not on the same wavelength even if it seems like you are.

Nothing wrong with a conversation. But if someone older than 16 is talking to you about sex, it's inadvisable. There are just some things that you don't need to know about at your age. Ask your parents.

Talking to them as friends only?? Or...what? You are only 13 once, honey. Just be a 13 year old. You have plenty of time to learn about boys...and learning from older boys will only get you into trouble.
