I think that there has to be more, as for other people I'm totally open to them expressing their beliefs as long as they don't push them onto me.

In my opinion (which you may not agree with) is that the Bible and all other religion stems from someone, many years ago, telling a story and everyone believing it and now it has become a religion. I do not have anything against religion as it helps people live better life's but, in some cases, worse (terrorists). Religion is a way to answer the mind burning question:
How did everything begin?
With religion the answer is simple, it was God, Allah or whatever you want to call him/her/it. Because the answer to the question is so impossible people take the easy way out instead of using their own minds to fathom out the mystery which is the beginning.

I was born and immediately i was dedicated to Christianity, baptized and everything! Later I started thinking and find out that religion prohibits thinking! Thus, I continue thinking and got away from my and any religion!
When someone want to believe and pray it is OK with me, as a matter of fact, when I have the resources, I will build churches and temples for all religions, but I do not believe, this give me the strength to accept all religions and people!

I believe there is a god, yes there is an afterlife, there is no such thing as hell as we think of it or how it has been portrayed in the movies, i believe that when we die if you are a good person then you will go to higher realms until it is time for you to be reborn or become a guardian angel (only a person who has done all he/she has to do on earth can become one), if you are a bad person then you will stay stuck on earth haunting the places you used to go when you were alive until you are brave enough to ascend and judge yourself ( when we die we are not judged by no other than ourselves). I also believe that we have been here on earth many times and that people who generally sail through life with little suffering are experienced souls who have been here many times before, and that people who's bad luck seemingly never ends are inexperience souls and have much to learn (maybe its thier first time on the earth plain) hence the saying "suffering is good for the soul". Lastly i believe that others are entitled to thier beliefs and religions so long as they dont try to push thier beliefs or religion onto others who are not interested!!

I try to keep an open mind about religions and beliefs. As long as someone doesn't try to force their beliefs upon me, I will accept them and will not have any problems.

It's when people try to force their religious beliefs on me when I have issues. I am Wiccan. I was raised Catholic, but have grown to see that this is not my path. My calling came to Wicca.

Your spiritual path is your choice alone. It may not match what your family holds. Some people just accept a religion because their folks told them to. They then close up their souls and are miserable. Soul-searching and reading... asking the spirits and your Heart are the keys to finding where you belong.

As a self-proclaimed atheist I personally don't believe in any religion.

However, I know a lot of friends, family and lovers who do.

I think whatever religion a person believes in helps them go out into the world as a better person that does good, and gives them peace and comfort when they are alone... then it's all good.

I believe that energy cannot be created nor destroyed and so shall I be. I think that most religions are closed minded and maintain a lack of education within a society. Best wishes

I am a spiritual medium
i base my beliefs of facts and knowledge accumulated from spirit and spirit teachings
and even spirit teach us that you have to take what makes sense to you and throw away what doesn't
all religions in essence are the same , they preach love and peace and harmony in the world
whatever religion you choose is up to you and if it helps you in your life then it is truly wonderful
each person is an individual to me , a person i can get to know not for their religious beliefs but for what they give to others and what they can teach me about myself through them

I don't believe in any particular religion - I just believe in living a "Good" life. All religions are fine so long as they tolerate other faiths, don't persecute or harm others and don't have a history of crusades, fatwahs, jihads, etc.

I don't "believe" in anything. I deal in reality and facts. The reality is, no religious claims have ever been or can be proven.

As for others' religions, if that's what gets them through the night, fine, as long as they keep it to themselves. But when they start deluding themselves into thinking, "I have the answer for everyone!", when they start putting their fantasies into law, then they deserve all the derision and criticism they get.
