my friend has a desease that she cauth a month ago and i dont want to get it because it has got really bad and she is always in hospital. i worry that i will die if i catch it. i dont want to never see her again but i keep makin up excuses not to see her what do i do, i am the only friend who can stand by her?!?

Let her know you are scared, I'm sure she'll understand. But also talk to a doctor about it. Maybe there's a way you can go in to see her but still be protected from catching it somehow. After you do that, she'll be glad to see that you overcame your fears and did what you needed to protect yourself so that you could give her a little company and some hope that she hasn't lost all of friends because of the crap that made her sick. She needs some friends to see her or she'll get really depressed and may never get better at that point. If you can help keep her spirits up, she can stay strong and get better faster.

If it is really contagious and you went to visit at the hospital they wouldhave you gown up and wear a mask into the room. If it isn't real contagious they would have you use a hand sanitizer going into and out of the room.
If you go see your friend in the hospital it will let you see how bad and contagious it really is.

It sounds like you really care about your friend. It also sounds like she could really use your support also. I don't know what the disease is but you could educate yourself about it I am sure that there are things you could do to protect yourself when you go to visit her. If need be ask the doctors there in the hospital how you catch the disease you could also ask for protective clothing, mask, gloves etc. good luck to you and your friend.

Find out what the disease is and do a search on it or ask a doctor about how it is spread. If it's that contagious, I doubt that you would be able to visit her. It may be something that is blood borne or respiratory. Whatever the case may be, educate your self before dumping your friend.
Remember...what goes around, comes around. Or " do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
You might need that "contagious" friend one of these days.

for one you need to tell her the truth instead of lieing to her. Call her, write her letters, still keep in touch with her...only if you are a real friend. Real friends dont just back out and run away when things get rough.
