as someone who believes in the historical jesus and not the religious jesus, i would have to say that i would be none of the above. i would simply be glad that it is him on the cross and not me.

im not sure jim, i'd like to think that i would be better than peter and the other apostles but the reality is i probably would only be slightly better than judas
i would however like to make you aware of a great short story on this subject written by ernest hemingway, it is called, you guessed it "Good Friday"
the story is told from the point of two of the roman centurions having a drink in a tavern after the event, as with all writings by hemingway, the dialogue is brilliant

While I would like to think that I would be one of the people screaming for Jesus to be freed, the truth is, I and most people would be screaming for him to be crucified. The Bible says in Romans that prior to salvation we are haters of God, despisers of the truth. I think at that point I would be running headlong away from God, seeking my own sinful passions. If not for the act of sacrifice that Christ completed on the Cross I would have no hope and without His intervention in my life I would have no chance to receive His love and salvation.

I would be one of the people standing watching everything and not understanding what was going on. I would be a believer in Jesus, and confused about why He was being crucified. Even his apostles, at this point, didn't understand what was happening. Until He rose again, they didn't remember what He had told them over and over....that it would all happen exactly like this.

I would be a citizen crying out for them to stop. And when that didn't work, I'd end up being one of the women weeping at the foot of the cross.

I'd be one of the women weeping at the cross. Even today tears swell my eyes when I think about the horrible death that Jesus went through.

I would be one of the women weeping at the cross. I'm not a Christian, but of all those roles, that is definitely the one I would be. I can't stand to see innocent people being persecuted.

None of the above. I would be the Jewish woman doing what we always do: day-to-day life. I don't even know that I would care that Heretic Jesus was being crucified. By my age I would be marryed and have a family, so I would be cooking dinner while your son of god died.
