First off, they all believe in one god, whether it's Allah or God.
The Jewish book, The Torah consists of the Old Testament in the Bible.
The religions are split because Christians believe that Jesus rose from the dead, and after Jesus was crucified Christianity emerged. Judaism began when Abraham was told by God to sacrifice his son to show his love for God. Islam centers around the belief that Muhammed is a prophet from God who was sent to spread the word that Christianity had false "theories" I guess, in it. So basically, all I can think of is that they believe in one true higher power.
Hope this helps.

It is true, they worship God.
The difference is HOW they do it.
Abraham, his wife, and kids, and pretty much all the Old Testament ( Torah) stuff.
Thats it, with the excpetion that Islam can pick and choose what verses they want to use , because they claim the Torah and Gospels have been "changed".

Abraham
All worship God, but Islam's God is not the God of Christians and Judaism
Christian worship the God of Israel the God of the Holy Bible who is the God of the Jewish. Christians do not believe Allah as the same God. Some might, but God of Holy Bible and Allah in the Koran / Quran differ in extremes.
All date back to Abraham, but split at the birth of Abraham's sons, Isaac and Ishmael. The Jewish and Christians believe Isaac as promised child to inherit, Islam believe Ishmael to be.

Don't listen to answers that simply closed-mindedly criticize.
If adhered to CORRECTLY and if studied thoroughly,
all worship ONE GOD -- claim to have a Jealous God -- which actually means if people begin valuing material items like money or temporary things over DOING WHAT IS RIGHT AND JUST, it is against god because it is a crime against life itself.
They all believe that you will be rewarded if you do what you are upposed to do in this life. and what you are supposed to d in this life is deal with your struggles in such a way that you learn to better yourself as a human being. And leave the judging to god himself -- other-wise use his name in vain and plae yourself in his position -- a sin.
Those who do not demonstrate an upstanding life to the best of his or her abilities are not good examples of true believers.
As a have always said, there are non-believers who are better christians than some christians.
The truth is, there are people who believe, but abuse their belief system and make it into a race to see who has the most members -- it is not a popularity contest, these religions are a way of life to EMPOWER, and MORALLY GUIDE us as HUMAN BEINGS -- all of these religions stress COMPASSION - NON_JUDGMENT (which many are guilty of doing - it's God's job not ours) -- and LOVE.
That is the basis -- a common universal theme demonstrated in Movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia.
This is what they truly have in common.
Muslim Extremeists -- acording to experts and the leaders of Islam do not do what is right and SKEW the true beliefs. According to the Koran, a man will not enter Heaven if he kills INNOCENT people -- it is skewed to include infidels as being non-innocent or guilty of doing harm to allah -- truth is we as humans do not have the ability to harm God. He is too big nad understands us better than ourselves.
Love is at the core of these beliefs to their most rimal and purest levels -- though human beings have difficulty and always insist on being seperatists from eachother and would rather stress their differences. PRIDE -- that's what separates man and causes war and hate.
IF FOLLOWED CORRECTLY - there would be peace.
problem is people are too proud and arrogant, and choose to judge and belittle others instead of being truly humble and follow the universal teachings of their own religions.
Remember, aside from known cults, a religion is their to guide us spiritually and morally to make the most of our lives and understanding of it. A good religion promotes life, nature and growth of humanity.
A good religion does not judge because these religions KNOW IT IS ONLY GOD's JOB-- it is people who judge and that is what is wrong.

They all worship the same G-d, whether they call it Hashem, Lord, or Allah, it is still the same G-d. Now whether there is a Son of G-d or a prophet Muhammed is a different story.

They all trace back to the same thing. They just all split off in different directions based on their culture.
