I'm not sure if by platonic you mean strictly friendship. If so, they do exist but rare. If however you are talking about a relationship, then this is even rarer. All relationship has a foundation of physical attraction, so the natural progression is towards sex. But like you said, most guys out there use relationship to get sex. Relationship should be a goal and not a means.

This question, as most, depend upon the people involved. I am a 39 year old male and have always had friends whom are female. Some were hot, others not so much, but ALL were friends. I do have to admit that on occasion there has been sex, but it was not the reason to be friends, but it happened because we were such good friends that we were able to have a moment of sexual satisfaction.

Bottom-line, it all depends upon the person. The only thing ALL MEN have is "frank and beans".

Most men just want sex, but if they meet a girl that's not gon' give it up unless they had a relationship then the man will try to start a relationship just so that he can f***

guys are definately different, with their different characters and motives. there are surely those who want sex out of you and there are others that really are looking for the true love the unfortunate part is that there are rare to come by but don't get disheartened there are out there.
