the body of the plane is called the 'fuselage'. on the wings there are 'aelerons' that control the roll, and 'flaps' that control lift, or drag. on the tail, the vertical wing is the 'rudder' that controls horizontal direction, and the wings in back have 'elevators' that control vertical direction.

The cockpit is where the pilots sit and that's where the flight controls and instruments are. The fuselage is the main body of the plane. The wings make it fly. The ailerons are what turn the plane, they are on the wings. The flaps are also on the wing.....they add friction so that the plane can loose altitude without gaining airspeed. The empinage is the back area of the plane, consisting of the rudder, which turns the plane, the vertical stabilizer, which holds the rudder and keeps the plane flying straight. The horizontal stabilizer holds the elevator, which makes the plane aim up or down to gain or loose altitude.
