what do you think about the president plans to send the immigrates back from which they came?Do you think it wil hurt our economy and local business that had people that fall under the catorgy known "illegal cititzens"as employees?
the plan is basicaly to send these people back to there home land and let them(in my words) stand in a line which only X amount people can return when they fill out paper work to have thier names in the U.S. system and then they have know english but this the mistake i think or thing they didn't really discuss....
They have pen pointed one race as you may know they are hispanics but they are not the only ones who live here in the U.S. illegally. But my point that I've come across is - what about they illegal citizens that had children? their children are born here so therfore making them U.S. citizen. So if their parents are here illegally does the child have to go with the parent despite of them probably already knowing english and our customs.

They should all go back with their children in tow! If you aren't here legally when you have your kid, it should NOT become a citizen.

No one else is allowed to legally profit from their illegal activities. For example, when they bust a drug dealer, they take everything he owns whether or not they can prove that it was bought with drug profits. Criminals can not write books or do interviews about their crime for money.

So, why is it that someone who is in this country ILLEGALLY can have a kid and then leech off of the taxpayers' wallets indefinitely through welfare and other social programs? They are benefiting from their crime when they should be made to pay!

If I make less money than you, and I just want a better life, can I come and live in your home without your permission? I'll have my baby, and you'll be responsible for its welfare as well as mine. Also, your taxes will go up to cover the costs of schooling my baby (and the dozen more that I'll have). Does that sound fair to you? Who is really being mean - the people who work hard for what they have, or those who steal from the working people?

Many of the people that are in our country illegally came here knowing full well the risk if there were ever an enforcement crackdown. I think it's high time OUR country started emulating the actions and standards of some other nations on immigration etc. I think america's been far beyond forgiving, for far too long, to the point where the advocacy for this sort of thing has now progressed beyond a reasonable level. You can count up all the sob stories you want, but maybe the first person you want to tell them to will be the american taxpayers, the people scraping by in many cases because THEY follow the relevant laws. You may love Mexico, you may love mexicans, in which case I ask why don't you GO there, and fix the place? The whole western hemisphere's been waiting with bated breath for countries like Mexico to finally get off thier asses and get their act together, but they won't until they get 'cut off' and realize it's time to DO something. They keep talking about how 'hard-working' mexicans are supposed to be. Well, let's see it then, let's see em reform their country into something worth living in, not something to flee from. I say 'call an end to the Great American Guilt Trip', and let other countries focus on fixing their own damn problems. Mexico's had their fun at our expense, we need community and political leaders that can read a map, and say 'no' when necessary....

Don't worry, this will NEVER happen. USA cannot cause a big humanitarian crisis on its territory.
Only criminals will be kicked out, not people working their butt off 15 hours a day, trying to make an honest living.
USA was built by immigrants and Bush doesn't want to send any immigrant home. He's the one pushing for reforms, which will give a chance to some immigrants to beocme legal.

I agree with BHarriss! They should go back with their kids if they aren't legal. Kids adjust fast..
People cant continue to be rewarded and catered to for breaking the law.
If folks come here against the law, they need to be rounded up and sent home...
No, I do not think it will hurt the economy. I think it would help.., and save the U.S. money..
They aren't just coming over here taking the low paying s*** jobs that some may think. Believe it or not they are getting hired in some high security jobs. Over 1,000 undocumented workers were getting jobs in our airports, power plants, missile ranges, and a big company that makes MRE meals for our soldiers. That is really frightening to know that someone can come to this country undocumented and get jobs like this.

ALL ILLEGAL persons living here should be made to go back to their home countrys. They comitted a crime
by sneaking across our border.

That being said a program to let SOME in to work
is not that bad of an idea. There are many jobs
that Americans won't do. (picking lettuce in the hot sun all day)

I think we should enforce our immigration laws
exactly like Mexico enforces their immigration laws.

I think it is a good idea. I think they should send the children back to whatever country their parents are from and they get to stay there until their parents can come legally. This is the penalty for breaking the law.
Yes, this does target once race primarily, but I also think this should be done with anyone regardless of creed, race, skin color, intelligence level. What matters is how they got here, nothing else.

The President nor anyone else in the United States are targeting Immigrants. They however are targeting those who are in the country ILLEGALLY. Illegal immigration is a very complex issue. Just because you where able to sneak in here long enough to have a child, it doesn't mean in my opinion you are entitled to government subsistence or automatic citizenship.

Children will adjust. They belong with the Parents . It is unsafe to leave them with others.
And parents who would leave a child are doing it for selfish reasons-not for the child's sake. Visit a State home and ask them.-8 out of 10 will tell you horror stories of what has happened to them. I know-I worked with many. You sprout off what you have no knowledge of. And you use reasons of the heart. You have no idea.
Sun-I wish you would visit a State foster home-and talk to these kids -many are from Mexico-or born here who parents left them. You might see a different side to that heart of you. A much sadder story of why you don't leave your kids anywhere else.
I mean you no offense but you only see one side.

most of the time immigration doesn't consider the children left here alone while their parents are deported and then usa taxes will pay for them to be housed. our government screwed up and now we are putting all the blame on illegal mexicans you know what i would have done the same thing if i were put in their shoes.

no the kids are unlawfully here. my friend works on a cruise liner, nd u have to have a green card for a whole family to be able to be a legal family. the kid may have a name in the system, or a green card, but still he/she r still illegal, b/c they r under their parents ruling til 18, nd if the parents r illegal, they r illegal also.
