I have an 8 month old puppy who also likes to bite and chew but I just very sternly say "don't bite" and remove my hand or fingers. I never hit him or bop him on the nose. The stern voice seems to work for me. Good Luck.

Take a spray bottle like for windex but a new one fill it with water and put it on mist every time the puppy bites you give him a small spray in the face.
the smack in the nose may work as well but it will make the puppy nervose whenever hands go near their facethus actually causing more biting and even fear.

Have some treat always with you, when she is biting say her "NO" (really loud, so that she would look up wondering...What!) and once you get the attention give her the treat, keep repeating this and she'll get it. And remember she is juz a pup....so they tend to bite everything around...itz like the teething period!

Bite her back until she yelps....or press her upper lip into her teeth until she yelps....I have done both to my 4 month Great Dane puppy and both work...if you bite, be prepared to spit out hair....I suggest the lip thing.
