I have a couple of old workout VHS tapes that I want to get put on DVD's. Is there somewhere I can go to get this done? It's either that or buying another DVD player which I really don't want to do.

Their should be many place depending where you live to turn a vhs tape into a dvd. I would say first call the local camera shops that do their own processing. Sometimes they have video equipment including services like vhs to dvd. If that doesnt work call a videographer. Like the guys who video weddings and stuff. They will definitley have it. If all that doesnt work I bet their is somewhere on the internet that you can send it to. Just look up vhs to dvd in yahoo search. You should find someithing their.

I know a lot of photo places have that service. Check Black's Photography or Japan Camera or whatever is nearby. There may be a bit of an issue with transferring copyrighted material like that though. Only way to find out if the'll do it is to ask.

Sam's Club has a little adapter you can use to do this. You need to have burning software on your computer though, and a DVD drive of course.

Most places won't transfer copyrighted stuff. But you can do it yourself with a video capture card and dvd-recorder.
