Was there water available in the areas where the people lived? Did plants grow? What kind of work did they do to put food on their tables? Were there stores on every corner, or did they raise their own food?

colortx You are ignorant to accuse anyone of racism for asking a question on how people survived in a land 100 years ago. Why do say such things? It only shows your stupidity and misunderstanding of a legitimate question. I fasking a question about a people of a country is racism then you are as guilty of it as well as everyone else. Grow up go to night school and get your GED.

PANCHA- No, I want to know why and how their people could survive in that area if it's so dam^ed UN-inhabitable. Were they stronger than the ones who come to the USA ILLEGALLY today? Were they more willing to WORK for survival? Did THEY know how to work a vegetable garden and raise meat for food? What's the problem with these coming here to the USA illegally?

Well before the Spaniards came and stole it from the native people there (hey isn't that the type of garbage the illegals say about us?) it had lots of food and resources. Then it was all plundered and wasted. A hundred years ago it still had a lot of resources, but now all but just A few places (tourist places they have spent a fortune on to maintain) are worthless because they just wasted everything they have down there. That is why we have so many illegals here from there.

Sweety, it hasn't changed much. Did you know parts of Mexico city don't even have public water available? Yes, planet grow beautifully over there.....Most would farm the land, that hasn't changed much either, especially in the smaller towns.

What is your point? ....Why disguise your silly questions with your racism?

It was a land over-flowing with milk, honey, and gold.
The aztecs lived good lives and had many wives.

Now, its a crap hole and every one wants out.

This was a hundred years ago, history runs a little slower over there, thats all. Lkie while we're driving cars and flying airplanes, They're still riding horses and sailing in old-time spanish galleons.
