Why is it when you break up with your childs Father, You use the child/Childreen as a tool to hurt the father. I mean Its already hard enough watching your family fail, and in most cases anothe rman come in and become the head male of your family.
My Daughters mother finds every excuse in the book to not bring my child to me for the weekend or just a day or 2. I get to see my daughter everyday when I take her to daycare but I have to leave to go to work 15mins later. So I only get to see her for about 15mins everyday. I ask my daughters mom to bring her to me for the weekend and every week she comes up with a new excuse. I dont want to go thru a messy court battle over custody. Should I just be cool and eventually let her do what she's doing or should I get upset and talk real "Jazzy" about the situation?

Sorry for your trouble. Why can't you go pick your daughter up instead of depending on her manipulative dysfunctional mother. You should just swallow your pride and go the extra mile for your little princess. Don't get upset, remain civilized and level headed and one day your demonic ex will see that she is lucky to have a decent "Baby's Daddy." Best wishes to you.

Well, I am not saying she is right for making excuses, but maybe you could go get your daughter from her house every other weekend? I am not sure if you have tried that. It might be difficult for your ex to always make the trip with a lot of things going on. She is probably trying to do some harm by making excuses every weekend, but you can try as many things as possible to see your daughter until you feel you have exhausted all the possibilities. You can try picking her up earlier in the morning, pick her up for weekend trips to go somewhere near where she lives if it is not near by. You can ask to meet somewhere in between that will make it easier on both. Your ex may respond better to increased effort to see your daughter by any means possible. If she doesn't then you should ask her if you can talk about it. If that doesnt work, then I would say seek legal advice, try to settle out of court if possible. God Bless.

I don't think your baby's momma is right. She shouldn't use that baby against you. I don't know that you would have to go to court though. Just tell her that if she doesn't work something out with you, you will be forced to talk to a lawyer. That may be all it takes. You should get at least every other weekend. I think it's great that you take her to daycare. I know you don't think 15 minutes is much but it will mean a good deal to her. You will be surprised what she remembers. Either way, it keeps her close to you and you can work from there.

I hope it all works out.

Sorry to say, but in a situation such as yours, your wife is going to use your child as a pawn, a tool and/or a weapon to get back at you for whatever wrong you may or may not have committed against her. It's not right, and your (hopefully) ex is just being petty and childish.
Frankly, you will definitely have to go to court and get a custody order. Get the best custody attorney you can afford and don't let that woman blackmail you. You have every right to see your child - as long as you haven't been abusing either of them, that is.

Good luck.

Take her to court for visitation rights. Its really the best way to solve these kinda problems. Sad but true.
What is up with the phrase baby's mama or baby's fatha anyway? It sounds so lame.

Maybe instead of asking her to bring your daughter to you, you should ask her if you could go pick her up.
