My boyfriend of six months and I split up on Monday. Then tuesday night and yesterday he says he wants to work things out. We aren't back together but still trying to strengthen our relationship. Lately he has made random comments about maybe seeing other people, that he sometimes wonders if the "grass is greener", and he's not sure if he loves me anymore. Am I being completely stupid for thinking we can work on things? Is he just stringing me along?

I would see where things lead. And if it end up that you two break up for awhile it will be okay. I am going through a break-up right now. My ex did it because he needed time to himself to figure himself out, that sort of thing. He still loves me.
Move on with your life. Moving on doesn't mean that you don't still love him or that you might not get back together one day, it just means that you're moving on. You can't waste your life waiting on someone who doesn't know what they want.
I wish you the best and remember if you're supposed to be with him you will be.

Walk away...Don't answer his calls, Don't call him. He's already looking for the next Ms. Right Now, and you are just taking up space...on his arm, in his bed - wherever he wants to USE YOU!!! Tie up your heart and your purse strings and move on!!!

I do think that you are being stupid and stringing you along. Find someone else, he could be using as a backup plan.

If you continue like this, you are asking to be stepped on, what makes you think he will change his mine just like that. didn't he just tell you what he is feeling, I wouldn't trust it because he is not sure about anything right now. Move ON. better believe he is starting explore. don't set your self up to be hurt.

if he really feels that way walk away they say that the longer you are apart the better you can realize if that person loves you or not and if its meant to be its meant to be if not then get on with your life and learn from your experiences.
