Sounds like she doesn't want to go out with you but doesn't want to hurt your feelings by saying it outright, girls are like that she probably doesn't want to hurt you.

I disagree with the previous answers...I take it as there is a possibility. However, I also believe that she is going to explore other avenues first and you would fall under either (a) a desperation date; or (b) the last guy on earth.
So you could tell her "well when you find out, keep me in the loop. But hopefully you'll have an answer soon, cause this face is leavin' and there are women lined up to "be on it".

Anything other than a YES means NO. Even if she says YES and comes up with an excuse why she can't go - it still means NO. She's not interested but doesn't want to hurt your feelings and shoot you down completely so she gives you false hope...women are good for that!

That means she's really not interested in you. When you keep asking a woman out you display your need for women. Don't focus all of your attention on one woman, get more numbers. Or else she is pretending not to know it. It can be because she do not wish to reject your offer directly.
Depends on what kind of person she is, you may use different strategy. Also find the right time to ask the person out.
It's all about timing ..and of course chemistry..

Sadly, that means no. If you are not convinced, give her an ultimatum and ask one last time, telling her it's the last time, and that the only acceptable answer is yes or no. You'll probably either get a pity date or an unequivocal "no", but go for it if you think there's any chance.

If she just gives you the run around then let her know that she needs to say no if she means no. Let her know that your not going to ask anymore, and if she ever gets around to making a decision, she will have to ask you out.

I believe it might mean that she doesn't want to hurt your feelings but she's not interested. Maybe ask again but to a party or with a group of friends. After that maybe she will go on a one on one date. I hope this helps

It means she wants to say no, but she doesn't have the balls to say no. Its a flimsy passive/aggressive tactic to get you to stop asking her by confusing you so much that you give up. Throw water balloons filled with that milk that's left in the bowl after eating cereal at her. Thats what she deserves.

She says she don't know, means she has not make up her mind yet. This kind of girl is serious about a relationship. Once she's made up her mind, she expects to be forever.
