To me it depends on maturity. If your in 11Th grade your probably 16 or 17, and they are probably 13 or 14. The person should have an 3 year rule. nobody more than three years younger then there age. Because if you 21 the lowest you can go is 18 permitted by law. If there more than 3 years apart 9 out of ten the maturity level won't be equal. There are people who are five years apart (ex. 30 and 35) and they get along well and probably even married. So it's really not the age and the grade level it's the maturity.

It all depends on your age range if the girl is 13 and the guy is 16 or 17 most parents find it wrong tell the guy just to look for some one in his school or atleast in highschool that would be the reasonable thing.

At 11th grade your mind should be focussed on your studies, because thats what will decide your future.

and going out with a 8thgrade girl?

Kepp your priorities in order. Study now. There will be more and enough time in your entire lifetime for such other things.

In my opinion? yes, yes it is wrong. 11th guys have very few things in mind. one of the biggest ones is sex though. Girl's wanna find a guy who will love them, all of them, for who they r, not for how far they r willing to go, if ya know wut i mean. 11th grade guys are at a diffrent maturity level, and want diffrent stuff then u 99% percent of the time. my advice? be his friend, but don't get into a deep relationship, it could end badly

Umm. Yeah. That's a big age difference at this age. In ten years it won't be an issue, but now it is.

Do you even have anything in common? You're kind of in two different places in your lives. You're starting to think about graduating high school and going on to college or a job. She's thinking about starting high school.

Absolutely not. Its only 3 years, and to me, age is just a number. Think about it, my parents are 8 years apart, some of my friends' parents are 10-15 years apart. So to me, 3 years is very much OK.

Absolutely not. It's not even illegal (depending on state laws; in New York, 17 is old enough for sexual consent with someone over 17). Just be responsible (if you know what I mean).
